Summary:
A safe and secure walkway that protects an expensive membrane roof system was
needed by the customer.
Without the need to fasten the grating panels to the roof, concerns of penetrating the
membrane and voiding the warranty were alleviated. The nature of the open grating
prevents wind from picking it up, and it is lightweight enough to not be a factor in he roof
load.
The grating will not accumulate water or ice and the feet keep it elevated enough to allow
water to freely flow toward the installed roof drains. The anti-slip qualities of the sqare
mesh molded grating assure walking surface safety, while protecting the roof membrane/
